Rowan Bank is a well equipped, comfortable house.

Downstairs, there are two twin bedrooms, a separate bathroom with shower and bath and a well-designed kitchen/dining room.  The kitchen is well eqipped with a dishwasher, halogen electric cooker and oven, microwave and large fridge freezer.  The utility room is fitted with  washing machine and tumble dryer.

The water supply to Rowan Bank and the village of Port an Eorna is private and fed by the burn that runs past the house - you can hear it flowing towards the sea!

Tha main bedroom upstairs has an ensuite bath and shower room.  From the very comfortable kingsize bed you can look out to Loch Carron and views to the Bealach na Ba - the highest single track road in Britain at over 2500ft!

Also upstairs is the living room which has a floor to ceiling gable window and again has spectacular views to the shore and Loch Carron.  On clear days you will see the island of Raasay and the peaks of the Cuillins on Skye.  The living room has a large TV, DVD and video.  There are plenty of DVDs, videos, books and also board games available in the house.  There is a telephone for UK landline numbers.

The driveway to the house is large and will accomodate several cars.  The burn runs through the front garden, while the back is a sheltered area with gravel and grass areas, rhodedendrons and azaleas.  There is an 8 seater picnic table in the garden.  Please note the burn in the front garden is unfenced, so please look out for any little ones.

The house is heated by oil, and we provide all linen except bathroom towels - these can be provided as extra if wished. There is a travel cot and highchair available and also a hairdryer.  We prefer no smoking in the house, and as a general rule, don't allow dogs.
